Richard, I have a 9-3 LPT (155 hp) also. The only difference between the 185, 205 and 150hp engines is the ECU and a solenoid valve.
Perhaps if you were a little bit more observative you would have noticed my response to your post on the performance board.

If you get an ECU upgrade -barring Abbott who install a new wastegate- it will be indistinguishable by the dealer. I think MY2000 onwards LPT cars are solenoid-equipped anyway, otherwise simply remove the valve and presto, dealer sees no difference to stock setup.
