I have no personal experience with the Fuldas but here is a summation of some reviews from European magazines.
In Max Power's tyre test (12/98) the Extremo came second in wet and dry handling but it was let down by poor dry braking, excess understeer and squealing when cornering at speed. The magazine still thought the tyre to offered an excellent performance for the price.
In Auto Bild's test (3/98) the tyre came top in the size 205/55 R 16W category. The magazine also noted the tyre's low price and commented that it generally performed well despite being without any special area of excellence
The reviewers in Sport Auto's test (6/00) found that this tyre offered excellent dry braking and good driveability. They also noted a strong tendency to understeer, poor wet braking and an average aquaplaning performance.
Follow the link below for the source of these reviews.
At $126 a tire you are only $10 less than a set of Pirelli P-Zero Assymetricos. I'd shop long and hard before shelling out my money on a set of Fuldas. Take a look over at http://www.tirerack.com and do some research.
