Hi, Nice looking wheels! I'm the one that posted about the rubbing. If you go with 225/45 you will need to cut a plastic piece protruding from the rear bumper. I have 38 offset and the front will touch slightly if I go over a huge bump in the road at great speed, especially if turning at the same time. My estimate is that with offset 40 it will still touch just barely. This is not severe; there are no visible marks on the tire.
215/45 is fine also, I just prefered 225/45 because it's more comfortable, offers more traction and protects the rim from the curb much better.
