I should be more specific.
215/45 is no problem. You won't have any rubbing at all.
Now, provided your car is 3 door, 225/45 will be as I previously described -probably marginal to nonexistent at the front. The touching on the rear bumper is not a safety issue, since it is because of a worthless piece of plastic trim. The Viggen-style bumper does not have this protrusion. If you leave it as it is, it will touch quite a bit, which can be seen from the clean line on the rear tires. I took the liberty of removing it.
If it's a 5-door, it would be best not to go with 225/45 since mnay people report touching on the fuel filler tube is likely.
225/40/17 will give good handling as well as faster acceleration (shorter gearing). The profile is quite low however and the ride may be harsh. I don't think there's any chance of rubbing with that size.
