I am in the same situation. My lease agreement is with SAAB themselves. But I was thinking the same thing. My lease is due next summer and I have been thinking about buying it, but not at the residual price that they have me in. I wanted to know if they would negotiate on this. The car will probably be worth around $12,000 with my residual being $15,600. There is another way to look at it. I pay $330 a month on my lease for 36 months with nothing down. That is a total out of pocket of $11880 for the three years that I drove the car including a bumber to bumber warranty. If the price is not right, I am probably better off leasing another one and having them take the car back. But for the right price it might be worth it. There are way too many deals out there so THE PRICE HAS TO BE RIGHT.
