I won't switch to Mobil-1 on my 1990 SPG because it has a few slight leaks at 109k, but I just switched on my 2000 9-3 at 15k. The general advice I got over the the C900 board is that if your engine is too old/high mileage/leaky, don't switch. Old seals that are about to leak, or slightly leaky may really start letting oil leak out. But on a nice young engine with so few miles, go for it. I'm a bit conservative with auto maintenance, so I'd say don't switch if over 75k. I pulled that number from thin air, though. Do some reading on the C900 board for a pile of advice on it...
