.... you will have lots of problems as the air mixture will go wrong as the air mass meter signal will not represent the air flow. The engine will go rich, stumble, foul plugs and throw a CEL, check engine light. So blow off valves are only for the T5 ECUs, no air mass meter, 1994 through 1999 producton. Newer models must use continue to use bypass valves.
