Ronnie Hux is my GM and in charge of SAAB here.
the 9-7 was officially dropped sometime LAST week!
it was to be built in the Lansing plant, but they didn't want a SAAB to undermine ( ie be better ) than a Cadillac SRX ( sport recreational crossover) . I don't know if I am happy or not about this.
