Have driven many of these cars - IS300 unbelieveable fun to drive, most like a sports car; interior is absolutely unforgiveably heinous! C-Class unbelieveably solid, surprisingly quick, also very cheap-looking inside. BMW almost too good, too perfect to truly enjoy...
X-Type surprised me - gorgeous interior, great materials, nice handling, nice detailing, good acceleration with the 3.0. R&T's car loaded with every option so price artificially high in my mind. AWD, leather, etc... standard for $30k or even better, $349 per month (!). That's better than the 9-3 lease (Jag requires less money down)!
9-3 is clearly outclassed here, only because at this point, it's an old car based on an 80's platform. My lease expires in August and there are a lot of great choices out there. Hope the new 9-3 can carry the Saab torch forward!
