The big black dome on the dash. It is programmable via Tech 2.
Most technicians either don't know about it, or are unfamiliar with the sun sensor. Factory Default is "100". VERY LITTLE ADJUSTMENT brings on a big change. For example I changed mine to 110. I have a DARK COLOR CAR WITH CHARCOAL INTERIOR and did not have any troubles over the last 3 weeks ---over 90 F and 60%-70% humidity.
If I had a lightning blue color, for example, I might have opted for a 105 sun sensor setting.
A little adjustment goes a long way. YOU MUST BE CERTAIN THAT YOU HAVE NO FAULT CODES IN YOUR ACC SYSTEM, OR THIS ADJUSTMENT WILL DO YOU NO GOOD !!
Now it's 70 outside, and 70-on my ACC---and I dont have the imbalance issue that the Atlanta owner posted.
In summary, you might need to "persuade" your SAAB mechanic to make this change.
