Go with the last thing that changed. You said there was a 55 mph shimmy with the new tires and rims (this is also the speed that wheel and tire balancing problems manifest themselves) and the dealer resolved it, but also moved the new tires to the rear at the same time (this would also move a wheel/tire balancing issue to where it was less evident). Now you have a new problem. What happens if the new michelins are moved back to the front? Did you have the front shock absorbers checked (in case they have begun failing)? Are you absolutely sure the dealer installed and tightened the front suspension correctly? Did you take it back and ask why the behaviour has changed, now that the wheels have swapped to the back?
