I have had less than %100 percent satisfaction from my Zimmerman x-drilled rotors. I bought then a few months ago, and 10,000 miles later, I had a mean pulsing in my front wheels. Obviously, the rotors have warped. I took them off, and brought them to my local Napa, totally great guys there. He only took off .010 - .012"", so it wasn't much, but still, I feel that after only 10k miles, no rotor should warp. Napa Guy's conclusion was there there wasn't enough Nickel in the casting. Nickel makes the metal harder, and more robust, but as we all know from Mr. Hamilton, Nickel is expensive, Hence the $110 price tag for a a pair of X-driled rotors, CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP!!!...
Now, I didn't mind taking the rotors off and turning them, but it did take a few hours out of my day... to others, this may be unacceptable. but, the next set of perf. rotors are $300+.... Eeroparts, may get a letter, along with APC for thos budget headlamps that bunrt out in 2 months!!!
