It's interesting. Ever since I checked out the new 9-3, I have been quite aware of the presence of Saabs everywhere. Most of them are 9-5 sedans or 9-3 convertibles. I live in Phoenix and I have seen only four or five of them on the road since they went on sale in October.

Yet I've been to the dealer a few times since then. Once they had a couple dozen on the front lot and the next time they only had four. So they are selling quite well I think, especially with the economy and the fact that this is a new model and the Arc and Vector haven't arrived yet. According to the dealer, they have been selling well and sales haven't been this good in a long time. You just have to wait though you start seeing a lot of them because Saab has such a small market share.

I am planning on getting an Arc, and I think that the wood trim would look a lot nicer with the lighter interior. I know someone who has a Lexus with the same color wood on black leather and it doesn't look right. I haven't seen a picture of a Vector with the parchment though. I think that particular model looks better with the charcoal interior. Funny thing though is that 99% of the 9-3's pictured in Saab's own literature, as well as in the press, is the Vector. It wasn't until I got a hold of the accessories catalog that I was able to get a good look at the wood trim, which in this case was the "add-on" trim placed in a Linear.

I have seen most of the colors in person, and as it stands right now, I will either be getting Polar White, silver, or steel grey. I originally didn't want to get another white car, but it looked really good in white.
