I've not noticed much vibration in mine. I bought a 2003 convertible with sport package (17" wheels with the OEM pirellis, and I think the suspension is the same as yours) a few weeks ago, and after 1800 miles, mostly on the atrocious roads of the DC suburbs, I'm happy with the lack of vibration and body flex. My last car was a Mitsu. Eclipse Spyder GS-T, which, while an admirable performer, was not nearly as comfortable on bad roads and had more flex than the Saab. I certainly don't keep bouncing after the pothole - that sounds like a bad shock to me. (Something's not damping the vibrations properly). The only rattle I've noticed is with the top down and windows up, the front and back windows seem to clink against each other on bumps occasionally. Hasn't bothered me enough to look for what's causing it, and it only happens on the worst roads.
