I assume that you're referring to the small bolt w/ allen style head? It looked to be of alloy construction and was not at all difficult to remove. I had to buy a set of allen keys though to find the appropraite size - 3/16" english was just a bit too small. Also had to buy a 9mm open-end wrench to loosen the bleeder nipple. I should have used the liquid wrench to get the disc off. With the rear set I will certainly use a penetrating lubricant.
I also found it helpful to adjust the springs on the back of the inboard brake pads - the metal "brackets" were just a little too wide to fit inside the piston drum nicely. I think that the anti-sieze on the back of the rotor/face of the hub will prevent the problem from ever occurring again.
I didn't have the proper torque specifications for the caliper bolts - I used Red lock-tight and set the bolts at 70 ft-lbs, a number I recall from my '88 900. ABS returned pressure to the pedal after starting the car and pumping the pedal once. Compressed the caliper piston with the lug-nut wrench w/ bleeder nipple open. As usual with saab repairs the front driver's side took 90 minutes and then the passenger side took appx. 20 minutes.
