Dilute hydrochloric acid shouldn't do major damage, short term exposure like this. Flush well under hood, behind grill, RADIATORS, and maybe make up a spray bottle of baking soda solution, to liberally spray in and around hood, etc, and rinse some more. Of course, most soaps are basic also, so Simple Green, car wash, whatever, should also help neutralize any lingering muriatic. Good luck!
