6 months ago with 39k and only got a 30 day warranty??? Was it over 4 years since the "In Service Date"? If not, in Canada the warranty, 4 years or 80,000kilometers (50,000 miles) from the "In Service Date", goes with the car and I thought the good old US of A had the same thing. Therefore except for the oil change, and belt, much of you cost should be done under warranty - maybe I'm wrong but since I bought my 1999 9-3, used, and since it still has less than 80,000 kilometers I have had the rear shatch struts replaced, the heater box and controls replaced, the 'mactac' on the driver's 'B' pillar replaced, the antifreeze container and level sensor replaced (the Low Coolant message came on with no loss of coolant and no loss of coolant when pressure tested!), a new intermediate pipe muffler and pipe replaced at no cost to me other than the dealer is an hours drive away. Sorry if your car was past its 4 years, that hurts!
