Ohh, my 72 was a convert and had the mighty ASS shifting system. (auto stick shift)
To bad I totaled it in the rain about 5 years ago. *crys*
Not a very reliable car though, Had the torque converter rebuilt 3-4 times, went through 3 engines on it, and it was always wet inside.
Of course if I could have it back, I might even trade my Saab for it.
And the early 72's still had all the nice old style buttons switches.
