I had received a claim form and information regarding the Class Action Suit against SAAB regarding the deffective wheels. I kept the documents, but didn't pay much attention to it, until my service representative at VOB Saab told me that three of my 4 wheels were bent. This was a first for me. The wheels bent in less than two years. I bought the car in August of 2001, and before 15000 miles service the wheels were bent. And to my utter astonishment, the response from the Saab's Litigation Administration was that I had to first have the wheels replaced, pay for them, then I may get some reimbursement, may be 50% if at all. In other words, I along with probably many other Saab owners, are being taekn hostage by Saab to THEIR mistakes.
Am I the only one facing this situation? I am curious to know how others like me handled this, and if they have any suggestions.
