Dealing with the same problem. Yesterday I bought my '99 9-3 in for the fourth time to have the Heater distributor knob fixed. Of crouse, this is just after I had it replaced two weeks ago, and I was on vacation for the past two weeks. It is very frustrating and the dealership and SaabUSA are unwilling to do anything to actually fix the problem. I even proposed upgrading the controls and I would pay for the parts, but not the labor. But, both parties were not keen on this. I guess it is time to get rid of the car... Too bad, it is a great car...
