I had the same issue (car still in the shop...) and the dealer said they checked the turbo every which way and its operating normally. As MikeD suggests I am goign to have them check the sensor - it would make sense since, having had a Viggen before, the boost feels right, the guage was just in the middle of the yellow which isn't normal.
So all that said, since you have only owned the Viggen for a short time, do you really think its not at full boost or are you just looking at the gauge? If it just the gauge then I wouldn't worry - that "boost" gauge is just an air flow meter and there for effect...
