so the ECU can adjust the mixture accordingly to provide the best performance and the lowest emissions. If your car is running strong, it is not likely that this is your problem. If the only problem that you have is the gauge not displaying the correct value, it could be faulty along with the pick up that it uses to measure intake pressure.

I can however buy that a faulty O2 sensor can be responsible for low boost as if the fuel mixture is way off, the ECU will dial the car back as it is fighting detonation if the motor is running to lean. You can check this with a shop manual, a meter and enough wire to tap into the 02 wires but it is a real PITA(this is what the warranty is for).

The problem that I have is deminished performance AND a gauge that is reading what I pressume to be lower than normal boost. We have not owned the Viggen long but I know what it should feel like and what it did feel like so there is a problem.

Assuming that the gauge is supposed to hit the orange/red intersection, the problem is boost related. Either a mechanical issue or caused be an issue such as a faulty 02 sensor or something similar causing the ECU to dial back the boost.

If the gauge is not supposed to come all the way to the red, maybe it is something like a hosed kat but since the off boost performance is normal, I don't thik this is the case.

If I pop my G-Tech Pro, laptop and a boost gauge that reads in PSIG into the car, I could find the problem quickly but I shouldn't have to....this is what dealers are supposed to be for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Grrrrrrrr!
