Check the old plugs. If heat range #7 and clean, fine. If deposits, go to the #6.
Yes you will not find plugs on the shelf at gaps for every possible application.
Gap to .035, not 039.
Use a feeler guage and tap the ground electrode to close the gap. Never pry against the center electrode to open the gap.
BPCR6ES11's run very well for most and work very well. They just don't last as long as the platinum plugs. BCPR7EVX-11 is not the factory platinum plug either, but that plug works very well too. The factory double platinum plugs cost around $12 each. There is no warranty issue with any of these. I did not know that anything in 1999 had platinum plugs other than the Viggen.
