Copper or brass turnings in pads is nothing unusual and these will not change the heat inputs to the rotor. And the copper or brass will not make the iron warp. The copper or brass in the pads will produce some waveyness in the wear pattern of the rotor but not warp it. I don't consider a wavey wear pattern a problem at all. Some may find it cosmetically an issue. An organic pad needs some 'abrasive' components to keep the rotor surface in balance.
You have posted about how great the performance of the EBC pads is. It appears that it is not the perfect pad for everyone. I think that perhaps they need some agressive braking from time to time to keep them in working order.
Others have recommended Porterfield pads for high performance. These would be worth a try. I don't know where you would find these.
