Due to recent threads, I was also starting to get the "Oh my god the DI is gonna go at any time!" feeling. But honestly, there are plenty of components on a car that if they fail will stop it dead. Do I really want to carry a spare of -all- of them? Can I even install most of them on the side of the road? Perhaps people like the idea of a spare DI because they can install it themselves.
