Great forum, by the way.
Yesterday I'm shifting into 2nd gear after a light. The car starts jerking violently, I see a cloud of smoke pass by my window. Now the car is hesitant to accelerate, and later on that night I notice the turbo gauge only slightly breaks into the yellow. This morning, the car stalls twice when I try to get it started (first time it has done that).
What could this be? fuel filter? The engine light is not lit. The BPV looks normal, as do the hoses.
Also: the car takes longer to start when the gas level gets down to 1/4 tank or so.
Un a possibly unrelated note: I'm in Buffalo, NY...this is my first winter with the saab, and I noticed that the car always has smoke/steam coming out the tailpipe during cold weather. I never noticed this in my previous cars, though I do see it frequently when looking at other cars drive by. Is this always normal?
Thanks for any help!
