help! check engine/fuel injection issue?

i have a 99 9-3 automatic. it has run like a dream in the 5.5 years i've had it. never a mechanical problem, yet.

in august, i hit an unflaged 6" rift in street pavement and did an insane amount of structural damage - cracked motor mount, broken transmission mount, broken control arm, blown shock absorber, etc. the works.

i got it all fixed, of course (like i had a choice). since that time, there's a weird problem. after i parked without straightening the wheels, i'd return to start the car and deal with a sputtering barely-moving engine that didn't stop making noise until i had pushed on the gas and gone about half a block. it only happened when i parked and left the wheels at a sharp angle. so, duh, i stopped parking like that. and it all but stopped.

today i was driving on a canyon road, and i felt a substantial loss in power (as if turbo was gone). the check engine light flashed and stayed on. it recovered from that, and drove fine on the freeway home. i got off the freeway a mile from my house on the surface streets, i slowed to turn, and it started with the same sputtering/stalling feeling (without actually stalling) that used to only happen after a bad parking job. and it continued like that for a mile. suddenly there was a jolt of fuel (?) and all power was back, and it drove fine until i got to my house.

it seems fairly obvious that this is a fuel injection issue. any further insights?
