Try taping or placing something like a 3" by 5" card over the black half-sphere on top of your dash to see if it makes any difference. If not, and if you're definitely in Auto mode, you need to have someone look further. Mine works fine set at 20°C, which is about 68°F, I think. I warm my hands in the warm air rather than looking like a wimp by wearing gloves. d;-)
