Absolutely our experience too.
This car looks just great if I get
a half-day's clear work on cleaning
and polishing (once per year on the
polish) waxing twice a year.
But then, Calgary has the cleanest air
of any major city in the world (per Mercer)
if not the most sand/salt/light gravel/mix-free
roads in winter.
One thing I never realized until the tire dealer
pointed it out is that one should go by tire
people's air pressure spec _and_ that on the
door post to get good performance from tires.
Tire manufacturers and Saab do not always square, so if
e.g Kumho says use more air, give up the comfort and
take more air on if you want more out of those tires.
At a change of season, one has more uses for the extra-bright
fog lamp at the rear as there is more fog now and in the
spring.
