Do you mean that you do not have the stupid little insulated cover that was Saab original equipment?
If so it is no loss, the insulated cover really didn't do much if anything.
Or do you mean that your new Optima battery has no access 'covers' for checking the battery fluid/electrolyte?
That would be because the Optima battery uses an electrolyte paste that is permanently sealed in the spiral cell windings of the battery. It is a true no maintenance battery.
