Pads and rotors are SAAB OEM parts. Can't speak to cleaning, installation and hardware since I did not perform the labor in the garage.

So if the vibration is in fact due to uneven pad substance adhesion to the surface of the rotor, this should burn off over time due to friction. Well, then, I will see what happens. Thought is rather odd that I could warp new rotors with just a couple of hard brakings. Will see how the car handles on the road back to Cincinnati this evening.

Question: if the rotors are intact, when would vibration be manifest: only under hard braking or during normal routine braking. I ask because around town the brakes works fine. Only noticed the problem during the secong and third high speed decelerations. Had a convoy going with a VW Phaeton, an Audi S-4, A Subie WRX and a Volvo S60R and these cats were routinely hitting triple digits although I hung tended to hang far back and simply savor driving behind folks who were driving significantly faster then I was (80 to 85) for a change. It was very relaxing to simply follow the autobahn traffic since they were hammering away and all I had to was sit back. I always wonder about the idiots in the 10 year old mini-vans who insist on driving 62 MPH in the high speed lane while the traffic in the slow speed lane passes them. I guess these people think they are in the UK when it comes to courtesy to other traffic.
