I want to hear the GOOD and the BAD. Just as much as I want to avoid the lemon dealers I want to visit the good lemonade stands. So, if you've had a bad then name it. If you had a good experience name it. Just state the facts and the place.

My GOOD list:
Gary Blake Saab, Exeter, NH: Always nice on the phone. The salesguy we worked with was really nice and let us take the car out by ourselves and for as long as we wanted. One happy visit to the service department.

Dreher-Holloway BMW, Stratham, NH: I really liked dealing with the guys with my 328iC and 325xi. Sales experience was straightforward. Service department told me on the phone something was under warranty that wasn't and they didn't realize it until after the fix so they ate the labor and split the cost of the parts with me (cost $300 would have been > $1000).

Sunnyside Acura, Nashua, NH: Good sales experience and service department.

My BAD list:
Saab Nashua North, Nashua, NH: Good sales experience until I discovered I left my garage door opener in the trade-in. Turned right around to get it but no one could find it. Finally turned up broken. As small thing but a detail that made me wonder what other details would go missing.

Foreign Motors West, Natick, MA: Sales guy was arrogant but I wanted the car. Car was delivered with a broken windshield that required a trip back to get fixed. Discovered later it was also delivered with broken struts and a bent rim after several rounds with dealership, lots of arguing and being charged fees for looking at the problems (and being told the wrong reasons). Also told by salesperson roof problems were covered by CPO. Service manager says it's not and told me to take it up with the CPO Sales Manager who says "he never would have said that". Tried to fight it through credit card company and got a bill and letter from the dealer telling the credit card company I was a liar and that they are sending a collection agency. Finally got the fixes done at an indie. Turns out MA law allows all this because I dropped off my car after hours instead of during hours. Nice loophole. I paid the bill.
