In answer to your other questions...
it happens when moving at very low speeds (parking) and when stationary and turning the wheel about a 1/4 turn or so (just before the wheels "scrub" the pavement.
It can't be a power steering problem because the scrub test that I performed is done with the motor off, so power steering isn't an issue.
I would immediately say it's the mounts, but there's little to no motion in the strut mounts on the scrub test.
I think it IS time to do the Eibach Pro-System soon -- I haven't hit the bump stops yet, but the nose dives more than it used to on braking and speed bumps, and it's feeling just a little sloppy changing lanes. SO I guess I'll be replacing the mounts anyway since it'll be all torn down... but my question still persists -- could there be something else wrong?
