IMHO...in many ways you are correct. However, the Aero of the '90's was as much coveted as the Viggen's of today. Also keep in mind the Viggen is no longer produced making it a rare beast. The very things, IMO, that ended the Viggens production is why so many people are attracted to it. In a quote I read..."The success of the (Viggen's) engine was the demise of the chassis." The allure to this car, for most, is that it is far too powerful for the chassis making it a somewhat unpredictable beast...drawing a certain kind of owner.
It becomes a leap frog effect...90's Aero/Viggen/Aero. And unfortunately
and SAAB falls victim to its own success. How can SAAB out-do itself again!!??
