Any time you build something in very limited numbers with content that really only matters or appeals to a slim niche, it will eventually take on that kind of mystique. Remember, Europe never got the Viggen (only the less powerful 9-3 Aero), and the US only got about 3,900 of them in 4 yrs of production. Tiny numbers. The suspension's too stiff for many drivers, and the bloody things were really grossly expensive for essentially a "tuner 9-3".
But man do they fly. Man do they get your blood rushing. Man do they look great. Man do I love mine.
And no, there are no 2003 Viggens.
