and the daytime temps are nearing 100. I have read archives on folks who used the Optima 34R, and since I would like to keep the car another 5 years or to around 150k. This could be the last battery I need. I have the OEM one in now which lasted 5 years or 68k, but my experience with aftermarket batteries is about a 3 year lifespan. Do you need to really stretch the cables out to get the 34 R in there? Not good to have the cables like guitar strings.
