Enzo is correct. The ecu will give you a fuel cut if there is an overboost and prevent serious damage, but driving like this is not a good idea.
I think you can connect the turbo in the base boost configuration, and drive that way until you decide what to do to fix it. Some other kind of glue, or epoxy, or JB Weld may work on this.
Taking the safe route and driving a few days with base boost only is not so bad. The car will work fine, the turbo will boost part way into yellow, and you don't have to worry about damaging anything. Some engines were designed this way, no APC or BPC, just a turbocharger and waste gate with a manual adjustment.
The BPC just modulates the air pressure from the compressor to the wastegate. It bleeds some of the air from the "C" connection to the "R" connection in short pulses. The R hose takes it to the intake. To get base boost only, you can connect the "C" and "W" hoses together. Or one hose from the compressor to the wastegate directly.
