If you look where the bumper joins the fender at the back of the rear wheel opening, the fender liner has a point that comes out that clears the stock 15's and 16's and some 17's, but the extra offset of the aftermarket rims and the too large of a tire, 225s vs the stock 205s causes the rub, but only when the suspension is compresses. There's a protrusion from the inner fender liner that's missing on the later OG9-3s cars and Viggens. When the car is loaded this point rubs right on the tread almost to the outside edge but not quite. You can trim the protrusion with a razor blade I think.
