As Mike Lynch mentioned, there is an issue with rubbing on 2000 models with 17 inch wheels, as your tires are oversized, that might be your problem. Besides the bumper edge trim, there is a rivet/nut combination that needs to be cut back. See the attached Service Bulletin which Nick Taliaferro is kind enough to post.
