SWEDECAR sent me some diagrams of the gear box and where that bracket and bolt is. One file had info about assembling the gearbox. It said that this bolt, the one i loosened a little, is tightened last out of all the other bolts in the gearbox. So when i loosened it, it should have not really affected the gearbox since the main concern is having that bolt lined up w/ the bracket. If any mechanic thinks i'm wrong then please correct me, but otherwise this seems to make sense.

I'm thinking i might as well change the clutch cable and see what happens.
