OK, it is time for me to change my spark plugs. I have 30K miles on the plugs at this time (replaced with last DIC). I checked them at 15K, and gaps were good. Just pulled them last Saturday, gaps are good, and the plugs have a slight white haze which shows a lean condition in my experience, but no issues at all. I plan to change the plugs in teh next 5K miles, and will go with the recommended NGK resistor plugs.

My question relates to teh plug number. I see that there is a 6 and 7 range plug for the car. I currently have 6's. What is the difference/advantage/disadvantage to the 6 or 7? If I remember, the higher the number, the cooler the plug? (as in it runs cooler or can handle higher heat?) I now do alot of city driving, and am considering switching to a cooler plug. THANKS!
