Currently has Platinums. Plugs look great, with the exception the white glaze. Gaps are good, plugs are in good shape. Car runs and idles smooth.
Though I understand the "concept" of the hotter plug/city driving, I think that issue is moot with the burn off cycle that this car has upon shut off. I'm thinking cooler running plug will be better off in the long run for DIC life, etc.
I have to say that these plugs are in great shape as compared with the original/stock plugs and DIC BEFORE the new programming software that came with the new DIC. This makes me more hopeful of teh life span of this DIC.
ANy of the Service TECHS here have input on that issue? has the new programming shown changes in plug conditions?
