Head gaskets, suspension issues, dodgy transmissions, exhuast problems, my C900s had flaws well before GM ever entered the picture, but I loved them anyway. It's the price I chose to pay for driving cars that are more interesting and perform to a higher standard than your average Japanese "appliance-mobile". These cars ARE different, 90% of the time (turbos, Tronic, suspension, safety) that's a bonus for us, but occasionally it doesn't work (ala DIC or the SID connections). While I wish Saab had the resouces to fix these problems immediately, by most accounts they have in the 9-3SS.
I love my 9-3, at the root of it it IS a better car than my 900 and I have every expectation that my (eventual) SportCombi will be better still.
