I know with the rising prices the temptation to skimp on gas is growing, that's how I found myself with a tank of Meijer "93" the other day. Well over the course of the next week the power and pep dropped off significantly. Forgetting about the gas, I still KNEW the car was driving different, to the point I took it into the shop. They didn't find anything and I noticed after I filled up at BP on the way home things are MUCH better. After driving around a bit more the car's back to normal. So for the sake of your Saabing fun steer clear of discount gas... it just isn't worth it.
