Did you insurance carrier disclosed or gave you a copy of their write-up on how the $2,395 was derived? Go over the write-up and look for stuff that they might have missed on their evaluation since that could make a difference. In essence, you have to question their assessment until it meets your satisfaction. Please note that your insurance carrier will utilize the market value (hopefully, they used at least two sources for comparison) of your car in your area. KBB is irrelevant since the KBB amount represents book value as opposed to market value. hope this helps!
