Starting Problems

I have a 98 900SE 2.0L with 140k. About a month ago, I had starting problems. Turns out it was the fuel pump (it wouldn't run when hotwired or hit), so I replaced it. The car ran great for a couple of weeks. Then about 2 weeks ago I went to start the car (about an hour after driving it) and it wouldn't start.
The current behavior is that the car will crank, and will occasionally catch. If it does start, it's only for a second or two, then it stalls. I have pulled and checked fuse #32 (fuel pump). The fuse is good and I get 12+ V when cranking (same for fuse #17). If I hotwire the pump, it definitely comes on. I've also replaced the fuel pump relay and the main relay, just to be sure. I jump started too, in case the battery was the issue, but to no avail. I would think this would rule out the relays, the battery, the fuel pump, and the CPS.
So, is there anything else I can check without throwing parts at it? I know that many have said the DIC could cause starting problems, but I don't want to spend $300+ unless I can be sure that it's necessary. Thanks!
