Retrofit Onstar in a 2000 SE? Anyone do this?

I know there are a variety of opinions on OnStar, but I've had it in other cars and actually found it useful, particularly on road trips and in situations where advanced planning wasn't possible or attempted...
So I'm wondering if it can be retrofitted in my 2000 9-3 SE?
I also want to adapt a Parrot Bluetooth kit, which I've read of people on here doing without interrupting the OnStar functionality.
Beyond that, I also need to find a way to get my iPod working...! (and my V1 remote installed)
Thoughts? Experiences?
