'new to me' 2000 SE suspension upgrade path? (~urgent)

It seems there are are about $10,000 worth of potential suspension upgrades out there for this car!

Right now my (new to me) car feels like an unlaced tennis shoe, and I'm looking to 'lace it up and tie it tight' if you will. At present, it needs strut bushings, and while it's getting that (right now), it will get strut tower bearings and Bilstein HD's front and rear (if I understand right the Bilstein "Sport" is softer than the "HD").

What else should I be doing while this is torn apart? I'm paying for the labor, so I'd like to do it once 'the right way'. I don't want it slammed - not really lower than the Viggen, although the Eibach's are a possibility. I like stiffer sway bars, but am not clear on which are best. Right now the car has WAY too much roll side to side and too much 'pitch' front to rear on braking acceleration. I don't mind a firm ride but do NOT want a HARSH ride that will cause the car to rattle even more than it already does (I'd like to improve that sensation too).

I also have read that the eurethane bushings are a good improvement. Does this involve a press or additional dismantling? Don't they squeak a lot/more than OEM? Teflon bushings come from where? Talifierro are teflon?

Sway bars? Best source?

steering rack and chassis braces? Best bang/dollar? Any reason to do these in conjunction with suspension components?

Sorry for all the questions, I know much of this is rehash, but I've not gotten a clear impression from the searches, there seem to be an enormous array of options.

Overall, I'm looking to balance cost with 'value' and looking to stop at the point of 'diminishing returns' - i.e. avoid redundancy or 'marginal' improvements, unless the cost is also marginal.

Thanks in advance very very much for some direction on all of this.

Regards,

Sarge
