I've been having some trouble with the O2 sensor as well. Which sensor number did you get? SAABs can be really sensative to different models. The resistance numbers you want to check are the one across the white heater wires, (not each one individually to ground) and the sensor body to battery ground. The TSN FAQ states the resistance across the heater wires should be 4 ohms, but this is for the a three wire sensor. Grounding problems can still occur for 4 wire sensors. If there is a very high resistance between the sensor body and ground you should cleanup the threads and use copper anti-sieze.
Check the voltage of the sensor with a digital meter. It should not be a constant .9 or .2 volts after the car is warmed up. I used a small sewing pin to pierce the black wire so that I could take the voltage reading while the car is running. After you're finished, pull the pin out and cover the small holes with electrical tape.
