Perfect timing; once more I get more from this site than I give, thank you. I brought my base 2001 9-3, 26K miles, to the local dealor in San Diego for a routine oil change and asked them about the PVC valve. They claimed they had not heard of issues with PCVs and the oil sludging problem. It is a 2001 issue too, right? The only reason I take that car into the dealor (the '88 900S goes to the indy) is for them to validate the regular maintenance for possible re-call issues. One more reason to stick with people genuinely concerned about their clients. All the best,
